1998 Ingrid Aria, E-RYT & RYC™ Certified, began practicing yoga. It was clear that this was the perfect exercise: explorative movement, mindful breathing, & the simplicity of “me, the mat & my bare feet.”
2009 Ingrid took her first 200 hour yoga teacher training in vinyasa yoga. She worked in yoga studios and gyms in New York City & brought yoga to communities she was passionate to serve: women in insular neighborhoods & teenage girls at-risk.
2013 Ingrid began studying with Rachel Krentzman PT, E-RYT2000 in her 100 hour Happy Back & 200 hour mentorship programs. Her studies focused on therapeutic yoga for back care & trauma release.
2016 Ingrid studied in-depth anatomy in Leslie Kaminoff & Amy Matthews’ programs.
2017 Ingrid studied Restore your Core with Lauren Ohayon & became a certified RYC™ teacher specializing in pelvic floor & core dysfunction.
Currently Ingrid is completing her TRE® certification (Tension Release Exercises for stress & trauma recovery).
Ingrid is a committed student of yoga & mindful body movement & is fortunate to have taken workshops with master teachers around the world, including: Aadil Palkhivala, Bo Forbes & Sharat Arora.
